3/18/2007 - The Secondary Cage Part III: It all comes together! (C)

The curved focuser board was squared up and cut to the appropriate width and height. Sanding Sealer and polyurethane was then applied and it's ready for final installation between the rings.

ENTRY PICTURES

A 2-3/8" hole is drilled at the correct location in the focuser board to line up with the secondary spider to be mounted in the holes previously drilled in the struts. Secondary Cage parts are test fitted before final assembly. 3.1 inch Secondary Mirror is test fit to the secondary spider. Final assembly of the rings, struts, focuser board and secondary spider. Note glue where curved focuser board was set into the rings.
