INTRODUCTION

There is a lot that has to be completed before the my Primary Mirror arrives!  In fact about 80% of the scope needs to be completed by then.  That includes the Secondary Cage and Mirror Box to a point that the telescope can be tested for the Primary's actual focal length.  Only then can final balancing and Mirror Box dimensions be done.  After that, it's just the Rocker Box, Ground Board and Finish!  The Primary Mirror is due around June 1st....that's closer then it seems!  This is a VERY tentative schedule, that I hope to at least loosely follow.  Details of all the steps can be found in the Journal.

April 15th
Complete Mirror Box 2 inches too deep then the caculations call for, this will allow for final balance dimensions after focal length test.

June 1st
Adjust Mirror Box depth and Pole Length to final dimensions
June 15th
Attach altitude bearings, complete rocker box and ground board.
